Pending pictures
I apologize to everyone who sent me a picture to be used as the user's icon on BrainKing. Due to lack of free time, I couldn't upload them yet, but they should appear later today.
This is one of the long term issues which should be resolved soon. I want to add a support of uploading images by users without my assistance, you will simply choose a picture from your computer or website, click "Upload" and BrainKing will do the rest automatically. It won't be finished today because the process is a little bit complex (automatic image resizing, a denial of too big files, image format conversion etc.) but I guess it is worth it because this feature would save a lot of time - for you and for me too.
By the way, a new Black Rook has appeared yesterday. It is nice to see that people still find this level of membership interesting, even if we currently don't have any special action or discount.

Excellent Fencer. This should bring a new live atmosphere to the site. People can easily change their pictures and we'll be seeing new icons everyday. I think Groucho appreciates this the most

The pics are a really neat way to get to see who you are playing against..hey with an easy button even I might be able to do it. Good Idea.

This would be great.. However, what about people who will upload "inappropriate" icons? (You know there will be someone who will feel the need to do this!)

All uploads must be approved first, of course. Just like any other profile changes.
