This article makes it sound as if all people who complain that this site is slow , has a problem. I do not feel so though. You are just with a servor in another country. For all you know, being right there,,its the fastest servor in the world. But over here in Kansas in USA,, it is not always like this. And by the way, I do play at Pat's place over at IYT and he seems to always run faster than your site.
Maybe if enough people complain,,,maybe u might think that YOU have the problem and not just one or two individuals have a problem. We the people can email and complain every single time this place is slow,,,but you would have no other time to read others articles and make your own up and just relax and read all day. The rest of us work 10 hours a day and would like to come home and play a few hours relaxing. Some people can get thru 30 games in an hour. Some can go thru 300 games or more in an hour. I play on a few sites and would just like to move and chat a little on it and move on. Not wait sometimes 30 seconds for a page to move. But then,,,its our problem,,,its our fault this site is slow,,,Somethings running in the background,,,we must have a bug,,we have a trojan and so on. Never in our right mind would we the people think you are underpowered to reach some of the far places who spend good money on DSL or cable, but when we play on your site its like playing on dial up. nuff said Comment (1)
People will take you more seriously if you use proper grammer or at least spell things right. but either way, i have to agree with you, and i'd like to add to Fencer's attention that even if youre swamped with thousands of spam emails, and simply cant read them all, take a look at the main forum to get an idea of whats going on. once again, it feels like youre making excuses. if you know that there is a problem, but dont know what it is, tell everybody that, and maybe they will stop complaining if they know what is going on.
a bit off topic: this reminds me of politics in the us. noone wants to admit that there is a problem. if they did admit it, cynicism would be severely curtailed. Comments (2)
i realize that in the same sentence that i criticized gammonator for his spelling, i spelled "grammar" wrong

"The rest of us work 10 hours a day" - am I supposed to be impressed? I work 16 hours a day (even more) and when I want a little rest and play World of Warcraft for a while and get disconnected every 5 minutes (that's what has happened to me today in the morning), do I complain and blame Blizzard for that? Of course not! The nature of the internet is all about that - some sites are closer, some of them are worse accessible but who does not want to accept it, should not try to connect at all.
I guess that I should write more articles about this topic because there are still many people who either don't understand or don't want to understand. On the other hand, is it worth wasting the time? Comment (1)
