Triple gammon tournaments
I have been told by several backgammon players that there is something called TTT which adds a new kind of excitement to backgammon tournaments and it would be a great thing to implement this tournament type on BrainKing.
So we did.
With some changes/improvements, as usual:
This new feature is not fully tested yet but I hope there will not be many problems because it could have been easily adapted to our existing tournament system.

- The TTT abbreviation might sounds nice in English but since BrainKing supports 20 languages (and more in the future), our name for this tournament type is Triple Gammon which is better suited for a translation.
- Giving 0.5 points for a lost game does not seem too logical to me. BrainKing gives you
- 0 points for a loss
- 1 point for a normal win
- 3 points for a gammon win
- 5 points for a backgammon win

will get you to the English page of this. (When I used the above link I couldn't get it to English even by clicking the English flag for some reason.
On these new tournaments, it says 1 game against each person in the tourney. Does this mean that if 64 people sign up I will get 64 games at once??? If so, I will have to remove myself, because I have too many games as it is! lol

Well, it does say maximum of 8 players per section... a bug? or what the tournament set wrong?

The option to create bigger sections has been added today.

a mistake from me ... i was used to the TTT tournaments of dailygammon in which the whole tournament is 1 section
i thought it would be the same on brainking as well
(this type of tournament is more fun when the sections are larger, usually i played them in sections of 20-30 players)
fencer added the option for new tournament to go up to 16 players per section now .. which is a nice improvement
i wont ask him to change the current tournament though as most people in it have joined it noticing that its 8 players per section
i will ask him if he can change the description though
