Bulb system of bonuses has been visually improved
I wonder if it is a good idea to introduce something new every month. People never stop to ask questions because some of them don't want to read the instructions, and I never stop to answer them. 
On the other hand, it is one of the ways to make the BrainKing site better and better, and there are always many things to experiment with.
The April Action is not an exception and although I think the bulb bonus system is pretty straightforward and easy to understand, I have made the following improvements:

- When you hover the mouse cursor over the flashing light bulb on the Main Page (which means that a membership bonus is active), the tooltip which appears now contains a short description of the current color code. It saves some useless clicks because everyone can decide immediately whether the bonus is worth purchasing a year membership or not.
- When you click the bulb, you will be redirected to the Bonus List page which includes a simple form to add the selected membership level to the shopping cart without going back to the main Paid Membership page. The list of membership levels contains only the ones which are eligible for a bonus (1 year or longer periods).
- If the red code (the rarest and the most wanted one) is active, another bulb appears at the left menu column, next to the Paid Membership link, which is visible on all BrainKing pages. The reason is that people have been complaining about the short periods of red codes and a very low chance to get them because they don't monitor the Main Page continuously. And since such events usually don't show up for more than several minutes a day, one extra light bulb is not an obtrusive element.
- If you catch the red code and purchase the Black Rook level, please contact me for a special bonus which would be determined individually.
- Please don't ask how to remove the bulb from the Main Page. For obvious reasons, it is not possible.

Opera easilly allows me to remove the Light Bulb if I want to. I just won't bother with it

Please don't misunderstand me, as I'm not trying to complain or be negative about you or BrainKing. I think BrainKing is a great site and every admin I've had any reason to talk to has been helpful and friendly, but ...
Regarding these light bulbs for example, where are the instructions for people to read? When I go to the FAQ page there's no faq entry for them, nor do I see anything about them on the Help page. The FAQ section seems very limited, the Help section very empty.
Consider Fellowships for another example: The FAQ section tells you what a Fellowship is, and the basics of what each level of user can do, but for anyone starting a fellowship or becoming a Manager/BigBoss there's NO info on how to moderate/administer a fellowship, or the fellowship's teams. The Help page on Fellowships is completely empty of info, other than the topic headings. It's been this way since I before I paid for a membership in Dec 2005
On the top of the Help page it says ... "This page is currently being replaced by a new and improved version (if you find some topics empty, it is not a bug)." The Fellowships entry isn't the only part of the Help page that's been empty for a long time. Everything from topic 3.1 through 18.0 is void of information.
(The above are in regards to the english translation of BrainKing. I don't know about the completeness in other languages.)
If neither of these basic resources for help/info contain the necessary information then what alternative do people have than to contact admin to ask their questions?
I don't mean to gripe or to hinder new features being added (because I think they're great), but maybe someone should update these current 'features' before going on to something else?

My comment wasn't so much about the bulbs, but rather the problem of having people ask questions all the time, and the help sections not providing information being a possible cause, or contributing to the cause, of that.

It makes no difference. No matter how good description you post, there will be always people who ask the same question over and over.
