Honestly, I have never been quite sure what the context menu is... I bet I'm not the only one!
Can someone describe it a bit, please? Comment (1)
1) Go to Settings / JavaScript and set *Activate context menu: top right corner*.
2) Go to any BrainKing page you want to bookmark for a later use. 3) Click Add link next to the style switcher (new design). 4) Write a name for this bookmark. 5) When it's done, you can easily recall these links on any BrainKing page if you move the mouse cursor over the Show link next to the Add one. i notice that the subject lines of read messages in my message box aren't italicized on the new site. will they be? thanks...

um...with all due respect, it's not, at least not from my point of view. i can no longer tell at a glance which messages i've read and which i haven't, so i wind up unnecessarily reopening messages...a waste of my time.
removing features, in general, is not a good idea. people come to rely on a feature and then, poof! - it's gone. there's not much about that that's better from the user's point of view... Comments (5)
What are you talking about?
Unread messages are in bold font, read ones in normal font. It cannot be simpler. And an italic font is always harder to read. Comments (5)
interesting - i didn't notice that unread messages appear bold now. it's much easier to not notice bold lettering than italics.
and i'd differ with the assertion that italics are always harder to read. they're harder to read in some fonts, at some sizes. i've never had the least difficulty reading the italics in my message box. i don't always notice bold lettering though. but maybe now that i know to look for that rather than the more obvious italics, i'll notice it more readily. There is a simple test, go to your message box and mark some messages unread.

i did that as soon as i read your message saying the italics had been replaced with bold. and my verdict was that maybe now that i know to look for that rather than the more obvious italics, i'll notice it more readily.
it is less obvious than italics...but i can see it more easily if i look at the name of the sender rather than the subject line. to me, it seems like a dis-improvement. but if a lot of people were having trouble reading the italics, i guess i'm outnumbered. Comments (5)
Yes, you are outnumbered.
However, there is always an option to create own CSS style and send it, I'll be glad to add it to BrainKing. Comments (5)
i figured.
ah, that's good to know. i've only played with CSS once and i didn't think it was fun, but if i find myself feeling extra geeky one of these days (it happens) maybe i'll figure it out and send it in. thanks. Comments (5)
